Mass General Brigham seeks a Per Diem MHS to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse at McLean Hospital. This role supports therapeutic milieu and ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures, tests, and daily activities.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of clinical experience in a psychiatric setting, with strong communication skills and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Epic training must be completed within 30 days.

Formación

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• One year of clinical experience preferred; psychiatric setting preferred.
• Epic training within 30 days of hire; passing modules required.

Responsabilidades

• Identifies and reports house cleaning problems to Unit Secretary/ND.
• Identifies and reports equipment problems to Unit Secretary/ND.
• Participates in the unit’s inventory system, reporting when supplies are low.
• Initiates activities that assist patients in maintaining a clean environment.
• Initiates activities that promote an organized, safe patient and staff environment.
• Assists patients in activities of daily living.
• Identifies patient hygiene needs; implements interventions.
• Provides for patients’ nutritional needs according to unit procedure.
• Assists and reassures patients during tests, exams, and procedures.
• Escorts and supervises patients on and off grounds, maintaining patient safety.
• Maintains a commitment to professional growth and competency.
• Completes mandatory in-service requirements.
• Maintains competency for treating age-specific patient populations.
