Northwell Health is seeking a Mental Health Worker to provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician at our Sharon, CT location. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, providing emotional support, and performing clinical tasks within the scope of practice.

You will support admissions, transfers and discharge processes and ensure patient safety throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Nurse Assistant certification preferred (NY/CT).
• Excellent communication skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care under RN/physician direction.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Support admissions, discharge and transfers as needed.
• Perform 15 minute safety checks and monitor vital signs.
• Maintain patient safety and documentation per standards.

Formation

High School Diploma or equivalent

Nurse Assistant certification (NY/CT DOH)
