Sharon Hospital, part of Northwell Health, seeks a Mental Health Worker to provide direct and indirect patient care in the Psychiatric Unit under supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, safety, and compassionate support for diverse patient populations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and BLS certification within 90 days of hire. One year of psychiatric setting experience is preferred; CNA experience is beneficial.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year psychiatric setting experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN or physician.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Support admissions, discharge and transfers.
• Perform hourly rounds and monitor patient conditions.
• Apply the principles of AIDET in patient interactions.

Educación

High school graduate
