ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Ohio is seeking a qualified RN to join our team. You will address behavioral and physical health needs, perform health screenings, monitor medications, and educate clients about pharmaceuticals within a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Travel throughout the assigned service area is required; prior experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsabilités

• Address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administering injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.
