Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Ohio is seeking a Psychiatric RN for LTC, full-time Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, with no weekends. Service area includes Englewood, Fairborn and Piqua.

You will assess, monitor and administer medications, perform health screenings, and participate in case management, with travel across the service area. This opportunity offers comprehensive training and a structured benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administer injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.
