Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Ohio is seeking a licensed RN for long-term care to join our Monday–Friday 9am–5pm schedule on an on-site basis. This full-time role offers a weekend-free schedule, travel within the assigned service area, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, dental, disability and life insurance, plus a 401(k) and paid time off.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Experience in psychiatric/behavioral health settings preferred.
• Willingness to travel within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients with psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administer injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer prescribed medications.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.
