CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient team in Grand Island, Nebraska. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with some flexibility and a weekend inpatient rotation.

Qualifications

• Certified by ANCC or AANP as a PMHNP.
• Ability to work with adults and adolescents.
• Active or eligible to obtain unrestricted Nebraska/Iowa license.
• DEA in good standing with no restrictions in Nebraska and Iowa.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide new patient evaluations, diagnose, treat and manage mental health conditions in adults and adolescents.
• Deliver outpatient mental health services including evaluation and treatment.
• Collaborate with a remote collaborating psychiatrist and multidisciplinary team.
• Balance productive practice with compassionate, whole-person care.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner you will join our team providing outpatient care in the Grand Island, Nebraska area. The schedule is full-time, Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm with some flexibility. In addition there is a weekend inpatient rounding rotation.

In this role you will be part of a collaborative outpatient clinic that provides a wide variety of outpatient mental health services, including psychiatric evaluation and treatment, psychological testing, individual and family psychotherapy, and interdisciplinary collaboration. To be successful the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner excels by expertly balancing a productive practice, efficiently managing a caseload while delivering comprehensive, whole-person care that addresses both the mental and physical well-being. They actively contribute as a collaborative team player, fostering strong relationships with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and optimal patient outcomes.

We are offering an annual salary, eligibility for productivity bonuses, and relocation assistance for new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Job Requirements

Required

• Certified by the ANCC or AANP as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

• Minimum of 1-2 years providing direct client care as a PMHNP
