Job summary

Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) seeks a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient team in the Grand Island, Nebraska area. This full-time role features a Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• ANCC or AANP PMHNP certification required.
• Eligible for Nebraska and Iowa licensure.
• Active DEA with no restrictions in NE/IA.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new patient evaluations and diagnose, treat and manage mental health conditions in adults and adolescents.
• Collaborate with outpatient psychiatry and other health professionals to provide integrated care.
• Maintain a productive, yet balanced outpatient practice with a weekend inpatient rounding rotation.

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner you will join our team providing outpatient care in the Grand Island, Nebraska area. The schedule is full-time, Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm with some flexibility. In addition there is a weekend inpatient rounding rotation.

In this role you will be part of a collaborative outpatient clinic that provides a wide variety of outpatient mental health services, including psychiatric evaluation and treatment, psychological testing, individual and family psychotherapy, and interdisciplinary collaboration. To be successful the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner excels by expertly balancing a productive practice, efficiently managing a caseload while delivering comprehensive, whole-person care that addresses both the mental and physical well-being. They actively contribute as a collaborative team player, fostering strong relationships with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and optimal patient outcomes.

Job Requirements

• Certified by the ANCC or AANP as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
• Ability to work with both adult and adolescent populations
• Active or Eligible to obtain an unrestricted license in Nebraska and Iowa
• DEA in good standing with no restrictions in Nebraska and Iowa
• BLS

Preferred

• Minimum of 1-2 years providing direct client care as a PMHNP

Pay Range

$137,897 - $159,213 /year
