Job summary

The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) invites applications for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner at the Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health. The APRN will provide advanced psychiatric and medical care in collaboration with physicians and an interdisciplinary treatment team.

This exempt, full-time role requires Oklahoma RN licensure, APN certification, and 3 years of nursing experience; prescriptive authority must be obtained within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Oklahoma RN license and be a certified Advanced Practice Nurse.
• Three years of RN experience required.
• Authorization for prescriptive authority within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat mental health and co-occurring medical conditions.
• Implement and adjust treatment plans based on progress.
• Supervise discharge planning and ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and document timely clinical information.
