The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) invites applications for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner at the Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health. The APRN will provide advanced psychiatric and medical care in collaboration with physicians and an interdisciplinary treatment team.

This exempt, full-time role requires Oklahoma RN licensure, APN certification, and 3 years of nursing experience; prescriptive authority must be obtained within 30 days of start.

Situated in the OSU Academic Medical District in downtown Tulsa, this modern psychiatric hospital will feature 106 inpatient beds, an expanded residency program, and an enhanced range of behavioral health services. Construction of the OPCC is currently in progress.Position Summary: The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is responsible for providing advanced psychiatric and medical care to individuals experiencing mental illness and related health conditions. Note: Approval for prescriptive authority requires current licensure in Oklahoma as a Registered Nurse and as a Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP), Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), or Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) within 30 calendar days of the entry-on-duty date.
