Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in an advanced practice nursing area from an accredited program.
• Current State of Oklahoma RN license and Oklahoma APRN license with prescriptive authority.
• Minimum 1 year related experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical services including assessment, intervention and evaluation of care within the scope of practice established by State Law.
• Consults and collaborates with physicians, other health care providers, and agencies to provide coordinated services to patients and their families.
• Documents services according to established policies and procedures, including medical records, billing documents, and care plans.
• Performs procedures and treatments as necessary and per established protocols.
• Promotes patient wellness by providing patient education.
• Initiates drug therapy when appropriate and before physician consultation when authorized.
• Identifies and orders needed supplies and participates in quality initiatives and safety functions.
