Job summary

The State of Oklahoma is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner for the Tulsa Center Behavioral Health, a full-time, on-site role providing advanced psychiatric and medical care. The APRN will work with physicians and the treatment team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in a 106-bed facility transitioning to OPCC, located in downtown Tulsa.

Eligibility requires Oklahoma RN licensure, APRN certification, and at least three years of bedside RN experience.

Qualifications

• Oklahoma RN license in good standing.
• APRN certification with prescriptive authority eligibility within 30 days of start date.
• Graduate degree at an advanced practice level or post-master’s certificate if master’s in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Participate in diagnosis and treatment of mental health and co-occurring medical conditions.
• Implement, monitor, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Supervise and coordinate discharge planning for continuity of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and serve as their representative in joint treatment efforts.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Review clinical documentation and intake information to determine level of care.
