Job summary

CommUnityCare in Austin, TX is seeking a licensed Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse to provide direct clinical care under physician supervision. Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible to practice as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Texas.
• Experience in patient-centered care with adherence to regulatory standards.
• Experience with face-to-face or telemedicine psychiatric care preferred.
• Active licensure and current credentials in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical assessments of patients using standard exam techniques.
• Order or interpret tests and imaging to inform diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Diagnose and treat diseases, disorders and injuries with referrals as needed.
• Prescribe medications and therapies for treatment and prevention.
• Document patient data in electronic medical records with accuracy.
• Coordinate care with the care team and supervise staff during treatment.
