CommUnityCare in Texas seeks a Physician Assistant to provide direct clinical care under physician supervision. You will perform physical assessments, order tests, diagnose and treat, and prescribe medications within the scope of credentialing.

You will educate patients and families, coordinate with the care team, document in the EMR, and ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and organizational policies.

• Perform comprehensive physical assessment of patients.
• Order or execute tests, analyses, and diagnostic images.
• Diagnose and treat diseases and refer patients to specialists.
• Prescribe medications and therapies.
• Instruct patients and families on procedures, home care, and follow-up visits.
• Direct professional and ancillary health care staff during treatment.
• Record patient data in the electronic medical record.
• Report required information to governmental authorities.
• Plan and coordinate high standards of medical practice.
• Demonstrate knowledge of PCMH and integrated delivery environments.
• Work within credentialing privileges.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
