Job summary

Cedar Creek Hospital in Michigan seeks a Director of Intake/Access to oversee the Admissions Department and coordinate all admissions into the facility. The role interfaces closely with medical staff, nursing staff, referring agencies and payers to ensure appropriate services and census accuracy.

The Director manages the department’s budget, policies, regulatory compliance, and data management, and collaborates with senior leadership on strategic goals.

Qualifications

• RN license or Master’s Degree in a mental health discipline with full licensure in the state of Michigan.
• Minimum of three years experience in supervision or clinical leadership strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the hospital’s Admissions Department and supervision of intake processes.
• Coordinate all admissions into the facility and maintain census records.
• Interface with medical staff, nursing staff, department heads, referring agencies and payers.
• Manage department budget, policies and procedures, regulatory compliance, and data management/analysis.
• Contribute with senior leadership on hospital strategic goals.
