Portland Psychotherapy Clinic, Research, & Training Center is offering a two-year research fellowship in clinical psychedelic science beginning September 2027. Fellows work on multiple projects, develop a funded independent project, and join a collaborative team focused on psychedelic therapy interventions, safety, and mechanisms of change.

The fellowship provides stable funding, salary not tied to grants, and opportunities to publish and collaborate across OPEN and other trials.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent degree in clinical or counseling psychology, behavior change, clinical science, social psychology or related field.
• A track record of peer-reviewed publications in the field.
• Strong writing skills demonstrated in research and grant applications.
• Data analytic skills and ability to work with complex datasets.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with collaborators and participants.
• A kind disposition and collaborative spirit.

Responsabilités

• Supervising practicum students and coordinating clinical experiences.
• Training in psychedelic consultation and integration.
• Serving as a study therapist on psychedelic clinical trials.
• Building a caseload focused on populations or problems that connect to research.
• Traveling to national and international conferences to present findings.
• Grant writing and project management support.
• Developing a funded independent project in psychedelic science.
