Job summary

Responsibilities

• Implements daily nursing care routines including medication administration and education for youth and families.
• Oversees infection control and medical appointments; accompanies youth to appointments when needed.
• Provides medical/mental health emergency care and communicates events to physicians and staff.
• Performs initial mental/physical assessments on admission and orients youth and guardians.
• Documents medical orders and assessments per guidelines; maintains youth health records.
• Demonstrates teamwork, professionalism and ongoing professional development.
