Job summary

Boys Town National Research Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our 14-bed Pediatric Inpatient Medical Unit. You will provide leadership, coordinate patient care, and support staff in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care for acute and postoperative pediatric patients.

The role is 7PM-7AM (3x12 hours, 36 hours/week) with rotating holidays and weekends. Hiring bonus of $10,000.00 is offered along with Boy Town's comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Registered nurse who is a graduate of an accredited school with a current state license.
CPR (BLS) certification required.
ACLS certified within six months of transfer or hire required.
PALS certified within six months of transfer or hire required.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate patient care activities in the Inpatient Medical Unit.
Perform admission assessments and develop/adjust care plans.
Document per nursing process and communicate with care team.
Educate patients and families and coordinate discharge planning.
Participate in in-services and quality improvement activities.
