Job summary

Davis Behavioral Health, Inc. in Layton, Utah, seeks day shift Psych Techs to support the Crisis Recovery Unit and Davis County Receiving Center. You will engage with clients, help manage the milieu, assist with treatment plans, and transport clients when needed.

Part-time, non-exempt roles pay $19.25 per hour with shift differentials and bilingual incentives; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required. Candidates must pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug screening required.
• Federal grant work; compliance with federal drug laws.
• Previous psych tech or related social work experience preferred.
• Computer literacy and Microsoft Word/Outlook knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients in crisis and de-escalate situations.
• Manage unit milieu and assist with treatment objectives.
• Record client behaviors and activities for records.
• Provide supervision and structure on site and off unit.
• Drive a 15-passenger van for client transport when needed.
