Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provides physical, emotional and/or cognitive patient care safely.
• Liaises with departments to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Uses crisis intervention techniques effectively.
• Conducts environment and safety checks (room searches, contraband monitoring).
• Communicates abnormal vital signs and pain to staff.
• Reports emotional/cognitive observations to appropriate personnel.
