Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides physical, emotional & cognitive patient care in a safe manner.
• Liaises with various departments to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Utilizes effective crisis intervention techniques.
• Performs environment and patient safety duties (room inspections, searches, monitoring visitors for contraband).
• Communicates abnormal variances of physical data to staff.
• Communicates emotional/cognitive data to appropriate staff.

Education

High School Diploma/GED preferred

Sufficient experience in working with mentally ill persons or in providing personal care services
