Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
6-12 months of previous Psych Nursing preferred.
Current RN licensure in the state of Michigan.
CPR/Handle With Care certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to patients in the Partial Hospitalization Program using the nursing process.
Assess, plan, and address needs of adolescents and adults with co-occurring disorders.
Develop and update initial nursing treatment plans for admitted patients.
Collaborate with the team to implement and adjust treatment plans.
Ensure safe, therapeutic milieu and maintain infection control standards.
Participate in discharge planning and education for patients and families.
Provide medication teaching and monitor effects and interactions.
