Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions is seeking an RN for a full-time role serving children through adults in the Mentor area and surrounding communities.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 9am–5pm, no weekends, travel within the service area, and a competitive salary in the $64k-$71k range plus benefits. Responsibilities include assessing behavioral health needs, screenings, administering medications, and coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license required.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.
• Experience with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Address behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving psychiatric treatment.
• Perform health screenings and check vital signs.
• Administer injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medications.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Coordinate case management and community services.
• Assist clients in building skills for emotion, stress and anger management.
