Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric RN for a full-time day shift in Ohio. You will address behavioral and physical health needs, perform screenings, administer medications, monitor responses, and educate clients on therapies.

Requirements include RN license, graduation from an accredited program, psychiatric experience, and willingness to travel within the service area. We offer training, a comprehensive benefits package, PTO, and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administering injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.

LPN $23-$25 per hour
