ViaQuest is seeking an RN for psychiatric and behavioral health services in Ohio. The role includes managing medical needs, administering medications, and coordinating care across teams to support children, adolescents and adults.

Travel across the assigned service area is required; a nursing degree and RN license are essential, with preference for experience in developmental disabilities. Full-time with a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administering injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.
