ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions is seeking a registered nurse to support clients across age groups in behavioral health services. You will assess health needs, administer medications, monitor vitals and educate clients on treatments.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing degree with an active RN license and experience in psychiatric/behavioral health settings. Willingness to travel within the service area is required, with a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsabilités

• Address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administering injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.
