Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions is hiring a Psychiatric RN/LTC for a full-time schedule. The role involves daytime Monday–Friday hours with no weekends, across the assigned service area in Ohio.

You’ll assess and care for clients, administer medications, and coordinate services with a multidisciplinary team. The position requires an RN license, nursing program graduation, and psychiatric health experience; travel to various sites is expected.

Qualifications

• RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel within assigned service area.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Address behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving psychiatric care.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administer injections and other medications as needed; monitor meds.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals and gather history from the NP.
• Coordinate case management and community services; support skill-building.

Psych RN LTC

Full-Time Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

No Weekends

LPN $23-$25 per hour

RN Salary $64k-$71k per year

Responsibilities may include:

• Address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administering injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.

Requirements for this position include:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
