Base pay range

$36.00/hr - $36.00/hr

• Per Diem/ PRN Night Shift (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.) RN Post Surgical Unit (Med Surg) Week Night and Weekend Shifts Available

Facility Description

Work in a hospital where YOU will have the time to take great care of your patients! Located at the “crossroads” of the city, close to downtown, Bricktown, with great access to all areas of the city.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities

Plan and provide professional nursing care for patients in accordance with the medical and nursing plans of care and established policies and procedures. Provide nursing services to patients and families within the scope of the RN as defined by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.

• Participate in identifying clinical or operational performance improvement opportunities and assist in performance improvement activities.
• Maintain the environment of care, including equipment and resources.
• Engage in professional development by maintaining competencies, identifying learning needs, and seeking educational opportunities.
• Support the development of other staff and learners.
• Communicate the organization’s vision, mission, and values. Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Complete Annual Hospital Core Competency Verification and Nursing Competency Verification.
• Implement new techniques, troubleshoot equipment, and respond to emergencies appropriately.
• Report incidents promptly and accurately.
• Recognize and respect patients’ and families’ cultural beliefs.

Qualifications

• Oklahoma RN License
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• PALS (preferred)
• Experience on a med/surg floor, preferably with post-surgical patients
• Orthopedic experience (preferred)
• Emergency Department experience (helpful but not required)

Experience
