Base pay range

$36.00/hr - $36.00/hr

• Per Diem/ PRN Night Shift (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.) RN Post Surgical Unit (Med Surg) Week Night and Weekend Shifts Available

Facility Description

Work in a hospital where YOU will have the time to take great care of your patients! Located at the “crossroads” of the city, close to downtown, Bricktown, and with great access to all areas of the city.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities

Plan and provide professional nursing care for patients in accordance with medical and nursing plans of care, policies, and procedures. Provide nursing services to patients and families within the scope of RN practice as defined by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.

• Participate in identifying clinical or operational performance improvement opportunities and assist in activities.
• Maintain the environment of care, including equipment and resources.
• Engage in professional development by maintaining competencies and seeking educational opportunities.
• Support the development of other staff and learners.
• Communicate the organization’s vision, mission, and values. Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Complete annual hospital and nursing competency verifications.
• Implement new techniques or troubleshoot equipment with supervision as needed.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies, chemical spills, and disaster plans.
• Report incidents promptly and accurately.
• Respect and effectively address patients’ and families’ cultural values.

Qualifications

• Oklahoma RN License
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS preferred
• Experience on a med/surg floor, preferably with post-surgical patients
• Orthopedic experience preferred
• Emergency Department experience helpful but not required
