• Per Diem/PRN Night Shift (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.) RN Post Surgical Unit (Med Surg) Week Night and Weekend Shifts Available

Facility Description

Located at the “crossroads” of the city. Close to downtown, Bricktown, as well as great access to all areas of the city.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities

Plan and provide professional nursing care for patients in accordance with the medical and nursing plans of care and established policies and procedures. Provide nursing services to patients and families in accordance with the scope of the RN as defined by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.

• Participate in identifying clinical or operational performance improvement opportunities and assist in performance improvement activities.
• Maintain the environment of care including equipment and resources.
• Maintain required competencies, identify learning needs, and seek educational opportunities.
• Support the development of other staff and learners.
• Communicate the organization’s vision, mission, and values. Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Complete Annual Hospital Core and Nursing Competency Verifications.
• Implement new techniques or troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Respond to emergency procedures, spills, and disaster plans.
• Report incidents promptly and accurately.
• Recognize and respect patients' and families' cultural values.

Qualifications

• Oklahoma RN License
• BLS, ACLS; PALS preferred
• Experience on a med/surg floor, preferably with post-surgical patients
• Orthopedic experience is a plus
• Emergency Department experience helpful but not required

Job Types: Per Diem (PRN) night shifts (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.)
