Job summary

IFF is seeking a Process Safety Management professional based in Philadelphia, onsite. You will lead the MOC process, coordinate PHAs, and ensure OSHA PSM and EPA RMP compliance while supporting audits and safety improvements.

The role requires 3–5 years of PSM experience in a chemical manufacturing environment, strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, and excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety or related.
• 3–5 years’ experience in Process Safety Management in chemical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA PSM (29 CFR 1910.119) and EPA RMP requirements.
• Experience facilitating risk assessments and hazard analyses.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proactive safety culture and continuous improvement.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience supporting Process Safety Management programs in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA PSM (29 CFR 1910.119) and EPA Risk Management Plan (RMP) requirements.
• Experience facilitating risk assessments, hazard analyses, and process safety reviews.
• Knowledge of Mechanical Integrity, Management of Change, Incident Investigation, and Process Hazard Analysis methodologies.
• Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions.
• Demonstrated commitment to driving a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement.
