Job Summary
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) chosen for this position will provide care to our hospitalized patients primarily on our inpatient hematology service, with cross-coverage responsibilities on our inpatient BMT service. This dynamic and challenging position requires excellent communication and collaboration skills. The NP will work with a high level of autonomy as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team to provide care to patients with complex hematologic malignancies who often also possess a wide range of comorbidities and internal medicine complications. Schedule is variable but will include days, weekends, and swing shifts.

Minimum Qualifications
Licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Utah.
Preferred
Certification in ACLS/BLS/NRP/ATLS may be required by your department or by privileging criteria. Utah State prescriptive privileges. Licensure is obtained by completing a Master's degree in Nursing or equivalency (the only equivalency to the Master's degree is current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner) and a National Certification which requires the successful completion of a nationally accredited examination.
This position is patient-sensitive and must fulfill all associated requirements. We protect our patients, coworkers and community by requiring all patient-sensitive employees to be immunized according to CDC standards and hospital policy. Limited exemptions may be made for documented medical contraindications or religious beliefs that object to vaccinations.
