Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing both primary and specialty medical services. This position may be required to access and administer medications within their scope of practice and according to state law.
The clinical Interventional Radiology Nurse Practitioner:
1. Rounds and provides care for patients in general, fast-paced, SDU and ICU settings, as well as in-clinic.
2. Is responsible for completing history and physical examinations.
3. Ordering appropriate diagnostic studies, synthesizing information and making informed clinical decisions.
4. Developing appropriate care plans which are communicated with patients and family members.
5. Responding to patient, family and caregiver needs.

2. Nearly Continuously: Hearing, listening, talking.
3. Often: Repetitive hand motion (such as typing), walking, standing, sitting. Seldom: Bending, reaching overhead.
