Job summary

The Williamsburg Winery is seeking a dependable Provisions & Barback Associate to support daily Tasting Room operations. This role assists with preparing provisions, stocking supplies, supporting the tasting bar, and keeping service areas clean and organized. Schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 1:00 PM–7:30 PM, with weekend availability required.

This full-time position (approx. 30 hours per week) offers opportunities to interact with guests and contribute to a welcoming wine country experience

Qualifications

• ServSafe Food Handler Certification required.
• Ability to work Thursday–Sunday schedule.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Restaurant, barback, food-service or hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble provisions and light food offerings
• Restock wine, glassware, water, ice, food items, and other bar supplies
• Clear and clean glassware, tables, counters, and service areas
• Wash and polish glassware as needed
• Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies are running low
• Assist with opening, closing, and end-of-day cleaning duties
• Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol-service requirements
• Provide friendly and professional assistance to guests and team members
• Complete additional Tasting Room duties as assigned

Schedule

Thursday through Sunday, 1:00 PM-7:30 PM

Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble provisions and light food offerings

Employment Type

Full-time, approximately 30 hours per week

Compensation

• $5.00 per hour plus tips
• Guaranteed minimum earnings of $20.00 per hour
