Job summary

VLinc is seeking a Provisioning Logistics Analyst to develop and manage PTD lists, PPLs, and related logistics data in support of complex systems. You will collaborate with Shield AI and internal teams to collect data, ensure compliance with government standards, and prepare documentation for sustainment.

In this hybrid role, you’ll coordinate data collection, validate accuracy, and address gaps to meet MIL-STD-1552, ANSI GEIA-STD-0007, and NSN assignment requirements, while communicating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering, or data management.
• 3+ years in provisioning, logistics planning, or technical documentation development, preferably in defense or government programs.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI GEIA-STD-0007, MIL-STD-1552, DI-SESS-82294, and related standards.
• Familiarity with National Stock Number (NSN) assignment processes and government procurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed PTD Lists documenting all required parts, consumables, and personnel needs for system provisioning.
• Generate comprehensive Logistics Product Data to support system operations and sourcing of spare parts.
• Create a Provisioning Parts List (PPL) with end-item or assembly level detail and NSN assignment.
• Ensure documentation meets ANSI GEIA-STD-0007, MIL-STD-1552, and DI-SESS-82294 standards.
• Collaborate with Shield AI to gather provisioning data and integrate it into final documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to collect provisioning data and report progress to program managers.
• Identify provisioning data gaps and propose mitigation strategies to stay aligned with program goals.

Job description

The Provisioning Logistics Analyst will be responsible for developing and managing comprehensive provisioning documentation, including the Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) Lists, Logistics Product Data, and Provisioning Parts List (PPL). This role ensures the accurate identification, documentation, and tracking of parts, tools, and consumables required to support system operations and maintenance. The analyst will work closely with internal teams and Shield AI to collect necessary data, ensure compliance with government standards, and provide a foundation for efficient system sustainment.

Responsibilities

• Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) Lists:
  • Develop detailed PTD Lists that document all required parts, consumables, and personnel needs for system provisioning.
  • Include specific training information to ensure all personnel are equipped to operate and maintain the system effectively.
  • Collaborate with Shield AI to gather existing provisioning and personnel data and integrate it into the final documentation.
• Logistics Product Data Development:
  • Generate comprehensive Logistics Product Data to support system operations, ensuring the efficient management and sourcing of spare parts.
  • Ensure all documentation adheres to ANSI GEIA-STD-0007 standards for consistency and standardization.
  • Coordinate with Shield AI to address gaps in component and subsystem-level data to meet government requirements.
• Provisioning Parts List (PPL):
  • Create a Provisioning Parts List (PPL) structured at the end-item or assembly level, detailing all necessary parts and tools for system assembly and operation.
  • Ensure the PPL complies with MIL-STD-1552 and DID DI-SESS-82294 standards, including accurate National Stock Number (NSN) assignment for procurement.
  • Work with Shield AI to collect existing data on modules, subcomponents, and assemblies, incorporating it into the PPL.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure all documentation meets applicable government and industry standards, including ANSI GEIA-STD-0007, MIL-STD-1552, and DID DI-SESS-82294.
  • Conduct reviews to validate the accuracy, completeness, and usability of all provisioning documentation.
• Collaboration and Data Collection:
  • Coordinate with Shield AI to identify and track all required modules, components, and assemblies at the subsystem level.
  • Engage with internal teams and external partners to ensure the timely and accurate collection of provisioning data.
  • Communicate updates, progress, and challenges to program managers and other stakeholders.
• Risk Management:
  • Identify potential risks related to provisioning data gaps and propose mitigation strategies to address them.
  • Monitor changes in system requirements and adjust documentation accordingly to maintain alignment with program goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Data Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in provisioning, logistics planning, or technical documentation development, preferably in defense or government programs.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI GEIA-STD-0007, MIL-STD-1552, DID DI-SESS-82294, and other relevant standards.
• Familiarity with National Stock Number (NSN) assignment processes and government procurement systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in documentation tools and systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and database management tools.

Work Environment and Conditions

This is a hybrid role, with occasional travel to Shield AI facilities or other locations for data collection, collaboration, and reviews. The position requires the ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet strict compliance standards within dynamic program timelines.
