Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health in Springfield, MO is seeking a Provisional Therapist to deliver individual, family, and group therapy under licensed supervision. The role emphasizes assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and crisis intervention in a community setting.

You will participate in clinical staffing, maintain documentation per standards, and support transitions with treatment summaries. Provisional licensure and willingness to obtain full licensure are required, with telehealth options

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a qualifying mental health field and licensure pathway evidence.
• Provisional licensure with the applicable state board; ongoing supervision required.
• Willingness to pursue full licensure and telehealth capabilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, family and/or other counseling under supervision.
• Complete intake and assessments within state standards and time frames.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and document diagnoses.
• Participate in clinical staffing and treatment meetings with feedback.
• Meet Collaborative Service Goals and coordinate with internal departments.
• Document all services accurately and update treatment plans as needed.
• Assist clients through transition processes and provide final summaries.
• Maintain professional relationships with referrals and colleagues.
• Handle crisis situations and provide emergency services as needed.
• Offer group education, trauma-informed and co-occurring therapy when appropriate.
