Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Provider Relations Specialist – CCE & Network Support to act as the liaison between WTCHP, CCEs, healthcare providers, and HDOs in the New York Metropolitan area. The role emphasizes intake, onboarding, and ongoing support for WTCHP provider participation.

You will own provider relationships, facilitate nominations, coordinate across departments, and ensure timely communication of status updates to CCEs and practitioners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in provider relations, provider services, healthcare operations, or related healthcare environment.
• Experience working with provider organizations, hospitals, or clinical practices is strongly preferred.
• Strong relationship-management, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple operational departments while owning the stakeholder experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary Provider Services point of contact for assigned CCEs and their provider networks.
• Conduct outreach with CCE representatives to identify provider concerns and opportunities for service improvement.
• Support provider nominations and referrals through documentation and routing processes.
• Coordinate with Network/Contracting staff for needed practitioners or facilities to support access.
• Provide status updates on nominations, onboarding, and other Provider Services activities.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication when issues require research or intervention.
• Educate providers and CCEs on WTCHP processes, policies, and roster requirements.
• Onboard and orient newly affiliated organizations and practitioners to WTCHP requirements.
• Identify trends in inquiries and escalations; elevate findings to leadership.
