Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in physician liaison, healthcare sales, or referral development.
• Proven ability to build and maintain provider relationships with sales orientation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently within territory with valid driver’s license.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy, healthcare sales, or physician liaison role.
• Familiarity with EMR/CRM systems for tracking referral activity.
• Background in healthcare compliance and HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a structured sales plan to grow new patient referrals from physicians, specialists, and health systems.
• Conduct daily in-person and virtual provider visits to strengthen referral pipelines.
• Educate providers and staff on Arete's outcomes and care model.
• Build long-term relationships with referral coordinators, schedulers, and medical assistants.
• Track referral patterns and identify at-risk or declining providers to re-engage.
• Deliver presentations and lunch-and-learn sessions for referring offices.
• Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and newsletters.
• Support community outreach events.
