Job summary

State of Maine’s Department of Health and Human Services, Office of MaineCare Services, seeks a Provider Relations Specialist in Augusta to support provider-facing activities and coordinate with DSRU/Provider Engagement teams. The role includes organizing meetings, trainings, and conferences to strengthen provider program understanding.

The ideal candidate will have 4 years’ health care administration experience, Medicaid knowledge, and strong communication, policy interpretation, and MS Office

Qualifications

• A four (4) year combination of training and experience providing knowledge of health care administration.

Responsibilities

• Field provider questions and coordinate with internal subject matter experts.
• Facilitate meetings and events to strengthen providers' program understanding.
• Support annual provider conferences and trainings across OMS/DSRU.
• Coordinate provider applications and track submissions for DSRU programs.
