Job summary

The Department of Health and Human Services in Augusta seeks a Public Service Coordinator I to analyze MaineCare eligibility and enrollment trends, forecast impacts, and develop PMPM cost analyses. You will coordinate data between OMS and OFI, create analytical datasets, and present findings to senior management to support budget decisions.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a data-related field and at least two years of data analysis experience, with Medicaid data experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a data-related field and 2 years of data/financial analysis experience.
  • Directly related professional experience may substitute education on a year-for-year basis.
  • Prior Medicaid or financial data analysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create MaineCare member enrollment reports.
  • Coordinate with OFI to analyze eligibility data and share OMS data.
  • Create analytical datasets by integrating raw data sources from OMS and OFI.
  • Validate and maintain data integrity in MaineCare data warehouses and decision support systems.
  • Prepare reports, data visualizations, analyses, and forecasts for clinical, operational, and budget initiatives.
  • Present analyses and recommendations to MaineCare senior management or DHHS units.
  • Collaborate on multi-disciplinary projects of varying scope.
  • Develop fiscal impact analyses for legislative bills and budget initiatives.
