Job summary

LSMA Management, Inc. is seeking a Provider Services Advocate to act as the primary liaison between a California-based IPA and its contracted provider network, supporting satisfaction and performance.

The role resolves provider inquiries, educates offices on IPA processes, and facilitates cross-department issue resolution while conducting routine clinic visits, including travel to the Low Desert area, to strengthen relationships and improve access, quality, and service.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, or related field.
• Minimum: 2+ years of experience in managed care, healthcare administration, MSO, IPA, medical group, health plan, or provider office environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary liaison between the IPA and its contracted provider network.
• Resolve provider inquiries and educate offices on IPA processes (authorizations, referrals, claims/payment, eligibility).
• Facilitate issue resolution across internal departments and external partners.
• Conduct routine and as-needed clinic visits, including travel to the Low Desert area, to strengthen relationships.
