Job summary

MDH Med Care Prgms - Ofc Medicaid Prgms/Operations leads the Provider Policy & Communications Division within Maryland Medicaid. The role oversees policy implementation, regulatory compliance, and communications with internal and external stakeholders.

The Division Chief directs a team of five staff members, manages Medicaid regulations, and serves as the primary advisor on provider policy feasibility and compliance matters.

Qualifications

• Six years of administrative or professional work experience (or equivalent education substitution).
• Experience evaluating, analyzing, and developing healthcare services policies and programs.
• Experience supervising or leading staff and managing multi-team projects.
• Experience analyzing and applying State and Federal Medicaid regulations and policies.
• Experience managing policy implementation projects in social service programs.
