Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Program Coordinator in Provider Operations to support onboarding and lifecycles for NM and affiliated providers, with project management and change management responsibilities. The role involves cross-team collaboration, meeting facilitation, and data-driven reporting to improve onboarding outcomes.

Hybrid work arrangement with two days in the downtown office and three days remote, plus occasional site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR 4 years of directly relevant experience (project management, healthcare, or professional office environment) in lieu of degree.
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and think independently.
• Strong orientation to deadline and detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills and high-quality customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with system functions to communicate onboarding needs of new physicians and providers to ensure onboarding timelines are achieved.
• Assists in preparing reports to demonstrate the effectiveness of Provider Operations initiatives by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data trends.
• Act as a change agent, championing a positive and thorough provider experience by supporting project teams through process improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate the provider onboarding process and make recommendations for improvements; coach leadership and teams on best onboarding practices.
• Coordinates the New Physician Orientation Program including registration, onsite materials, and follow-up for a smooth orientation.
• Communicates effectively and keeps administrators informed; uses critical thinking for corrective actions as needed.
