Job summary

Baptist Health Care in Pensacola, FL, seeks an Provider Onboarding & Enrollment Specialist to develop and maintain SOPs for provider onboarding and enrollment. This role acts as a single point of contact for physicians and advance practice providers, ensuring a high-quality candidate and provider experience.

You will collaborate with HR, IT, finance, marketing and medical affairs to streamline processes, coordinate start dates, and manage enrollment with government payors and managed care plans

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communication, Human Resource Management or related field is required.
• 5 years healthcare experience is required.
• 2 years in project management, relationship management, or organizational development is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, executes, and maintains SOPs for provider onboarding and enrollment.
• Supports Medical Group in delivering candidate, customer, and provider experience.
• Establishes partnerships with medical group leaders to follow policies while maintaining candidate engagement.
• Collaborates across HR, central business office, IT, marketing, operations, medical affairs and finance to ensure seamless processes and timely provider starts.
• Builds relationships to support retention during the first year and cross-department influence.
• Facilitates contract handoff with finance for provider payments including sign-on bonuses and stipends.
• Collects and submits all information for provider enrollment with government payors and managed care plans; coordinates with vendors on enrollment.
• Monitors enrollment dashboard and communicates status; audits information for accuracy.
• Maintains complex databases and ensures confidential data capture.
