Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with 3+ years post-degree healthcare experience
• Knowledge of recruiting healthcare providers
• Knowledge of negotiating and managing contracts with hospitals and physicians
• Knowledge of building relationships with large and/or complex systems
• Knowledge of billing, reimbursement (claims) and managed care
• Strong Microsoft Office and data skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong provider network through recruitment activities and ongoing relationships
• Collaborate with Provider Relations to develop network-growth strategies
• Plan daily recruitment call schedules and approaches
• Use network adequacy and other reports to identify gaps and recruit providers to maintain compliant networks
• Negotiate contracts and manage scopes of work with hospitals and physicians
• Provide outreach and education to departments and providers
