Job summary

SCP Health is seeking a Provider Enrollment Specialist in Lafayette, LA to process provider enrollments with Medicare, Medicaid, BCBS, and commercial payors. You will manage credentialing, verify licenses, and act as the primary liaison with providers and payors.

The role requires independent work, strong organization, and familiarity with CAQH and CMS guidelines. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in enrollment/credentialing, proficiency in MS Office, and experience with credentialing databases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Provider Enrollment/Payor Credentialing experience.
• Experience with CAQH, NPI databases, and CMS guidelines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain provider enrollments for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payors.
• Prioritize multiple enrollments in a deadline-driven environment.
• Maintain Provider Enrollment Packets and update NPD information.
• Monitor credentials and ensure active status; escalate issues.
• Serve as primary contact for providers and payors on enrollment questions.
• Perform data entry in Provider Enrollment system and follow up on submissions.
• Maintain confidentiality of privileged information.
