Job summary

Alignment Health is seeking a proactive, relationship-driven Provider Engagement Specialist to support and strengthen our growing provider network across Merced and Stanislaus Counties. This field-based role partners with physician practices to optimize performance, improve patient outcomes, and navigate Alignment Health's programs and resources.

You will travel approximately 80% of the time, build strong provider relationships, deliver ongoing education, onboarding, and training, and contribute

Qualifications

• Experience in provider relations, provider contracting, network development, or related healthcare operations.
• Education Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working with physician practices and healthcare providers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and office staff.
• Partner with providers to improve performance across growth, retention, AWVs, HEDIS gap closure, hospital and ER utilization, risk adjustment, and other quality measures.
• Lead provider onboarding and deliver ongoing education on Alignment Health programs, tools, incentives, member benefits, and Model of Care requirements.
• Develop and deliver provider training materials, educational resources, implementation guides, and presentations.
• Serve as the primary contact for provider needs and operational support including utilization management, prior authorizations, claims, eligibility, and directory validation.
