Job summary

Simplify Alpha is seeking a Provider Application SME (Technical) to own the design of provider data workflows on our core admin platform. This onsite role requires hands-on build experience in provider data management and contract applications for health plans, with strong integration capabilities to Claims, Directory, and Portal systems.

Qualifications

• Hands-on development/configuration in Provider Data Management and Provider Contracts for Health plans.
• Strong knowledge of provider data models: NPI/TIN, roster/panel, credentialing attributes.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and middleware integrations (MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.).
• SQL proficiency for validation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support Provider Data Management and Provider Contracts modules on the core admin platform, including provider onboarding, credentialing data, network/panel assignment, and contract term modeling.
• Automate provider data business processes using rules engines and workflow configuration.
• Architect and build upstream/downstream integrations with Claims adjudication, Portal, Directory systems using REST/SOAP APIs, message queues, or ETL pipelines.
• Own data mapping and transformation logic between provider source-of-truth systems and downstream consumers.
• Implement and troubleshoot data integrations relevant to provider data (hierarchy, enrollment linkage).
• Build and maintain provider data quality rules: deduplication, match/merge, validation, and exception-handling workflows.
• Support CI/CD-based config promotion across dev/test/prod.
• Partner with delivery leads to translate requirements into technical specs, data models, and artifacts.
