Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a detail-oriented Provider Credentialing Specialist to support onboarding, credentialing, and compliance activities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This contract role is onsite in Redding, CA and requires strong documentation skills and customer service excellence.

The ideal candidate will verify licenses and certifications, manage provider records, and collaborate with teams to ensure accurate data across systems.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of healthcare administrative experience.
• Experience with insurance verification, benefits verification, provider enrollment, or patient registration.
• Basic Excel assessment required with a score of 70% or higher.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multitask and manage confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Complete credentialing and recredentialing activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Review, verify, and maintain provider licenses, certifications, and supporting documentation.
• Research and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Send, track, and follow up on provider forms and required documentation.
• Monitor licensing boards and regulatory reporting sites for updates.
• Maintain accurate provider files and records.
• Educate providers regarding credentialing requirements and documentation needs.
• Prepare reports and templates using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Enter and update provider information across multiple systems.
• Respond to provider inquiries while delivering excellent customer service.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

This role plays an important part in ensuring provider information is accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory and organizational standards. Qualifications

Additional Requirement

Candidates must successfully complete a basic Excel assessment with a score of 70% or higher.

This is a Contract position based out of Redding, CA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
