Responsibilities

• Escorting patients to exam rooms and documenting vitals (height, weight, blood pressure).
• Assisting in preparation and administration of medications and immunizations as instructed by clinician or standing orders.
• Performing and supporting clinical procedures and treatments such as ear lavage, EKGs, and bladder scans under clinician direction.
• Ensuring rooming steps: medication reconciliation, allergies review, immunization records, refills, forms and questionnaires.
• Adhering to all laws, regulations, policies, and standards to ensure compliance.

Salary: USD20 - USD27 per hour + Medical, Dental, Vision

Title:Provider Assistant -Clinical EMT

Position Summary: One of several exciting opportunities currently available, this role is ideal for a compassionate, detail-oriented healthcare professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. Experience with EPIC, patient assessments, medication administration, and procedural support is highly valued. In this position, you'll play a key role in supporting positive patient outcomes while working within established clinical standards and best practices in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Pay: 20-27/hr, based on experience (weekly pay + Benefits)

Day to Day:

• Escorting patients to exam rooms and accurately documenting vital information such as height, weight, and blood pressure.
• Assisting in the preparation and administration of medications and immunizations as instructed by a clinician, RN, or standing orders.
• Performing and supporting clinical procedures and treatments, including ear lavage, EKGs, and bladder scans, under the direction of a clinician.
• Ensuring all necessary steps in the rooming process are completed, including medication reconciliation, reviewing allergies, managing immunization records, addressing pending refills, and completing required forms and questionnaires to support clinical quality.
• Staying informed of and adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, policies, and standards to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

• EMT in the state of MN and NREMT
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or Red Cross
